ATLANTA — Kyrylo Kobzyev of Auburn recently earned a Master of Science degree in analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
TROY — Troy University has announced its Provost’s List for Term 1 of the 2024-2025 academic year. Full-time undergraduates who are registered for 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65 qualified for the Provost’s List, including the following local students: Jordon Gunn and MacKinley Simpson of Auburn, Christopher Van Noy of Opelika and Caden Kent of Smiths Station.
SILVER SPRING, Maryland — The National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) announced its award-winning social studies educators and researchers for 2024, including Dr. Paul Fitchett from Auburn University, who received the Exemplary Research in Social Studies Award as co-author of “How and Why Teachers Taught About the 2020 U.S. Election: An Analysis of Survey Responses from 12 States.”
NASHVILLE — Local students currently attending Belmont University performed in the beloved annual concert tradition, “Christmas at Belmont: Live from Nashville.” The 90-minute performance featured more than 600 student musicians and vocalists, including Matthew Oliver of Opelika and William Wirth of Auburn.
