Opelika Packs Out for Pickleball

The Opelika Sportsplex hosted its annual spring “Paddles at the Plex” pickleball tournament last weekend, March 2 through 5. The Opelika Pickleball facility features two pickleball pavilions with 24 state-of-the-art pickleball courts. The next Paddles at the Plex event will take place in the fall of 2023. Pictured top left is Alla Brown from Atlanta, Georgia. She is one of top seeded players in both doubles and 16-year-old singles. Brown took the gold in singles.
