LEE COUNTY COMMISSION

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Lee County Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 5:00 p.m., in the Lee County Commission Chambers at the Lee County Courthouse located at 215 South Ninth Street, Opelika, Alabama, 36801, concerning the proposed Noise Ordinance of the Lee County Commission.  A copy of the proposed ordinance will be available online at  www.leeco.us under Government / County Commission / Proposed Noise Ordinance and can also be reviewed in person in the Lee County Commission Office.

The purpose of the public hearings will be for interested parties to make oral and/or written comments into the public hearing record.  Those wishing to make oral comments at the public hearings are also encouraged to submit those comments in writing.  All comments must address the subject of the public hearing or issues that have an impact on the County Commission’s ability to meet applicable laws, rules, and regulations affecting the final decision. 
Any person wishing to participate in this hearing who needs special accommodations should contact the Lee County Commission Office at (334) 737-3660 at least five working days prior to the hearing.

Attendance at the public hearing is not necessary to have comments included in the public hearing record.  Persons wishing to comment on the proposed noise ordinance in writing may do so by submitting their comments by mail no later than 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 to:
