The 2020 Johnny Ray Century Bike Ride went virtual and raised $500 to benefit downtown Opelika small businesses affected by COVID-19.  Each participant rode the 100 miles safely on their own and received a swag bag.

“The Opelika Bicycle Advisory Committee’s Johnny Ray Century ride is a great annual event in downtown Opelika,” said Opelika Main Street Executive Director Ken Ward. “We are glad they chose to partner with us in providing much needed support to downtown’s small businesses.”

Opelika Main Street and the Opelika Bicycle Advisory Committee applaud the small businesses of historic downtown  Opelika for their courageous and creative adaptations to the 2020 global coronavirus pandemic.
