Wright’s Market kicked off its Wright2U online shopping and home delivery service last week.
The grocery store, owned by Jimmy Wright, has offered its customers a shuttle service for two years – giving customers who do not have transportation to and from the market a way to shop for groceries. Wright told the Observer expanding their customer service program is a way for his store to keep up with advancing technology.
Those who choose to order their groceries online and pick them up will pay a $4.95 fee. Those who want their goods delivered will pay $9.95. The fees are waived if patrons spend more than $100. Nearly 10,000 items Wright’s carries can be found on www.wright2u.com. Customers can create an account, shop, select delivery or pickup and pay online.
According to information on the business’s Facebook page, the website is being updated daily to add more inventory photos. Specific products can be found by using the search option and special instructions can be left for the staff before placing an order. Customers can also save products they buy regularly to simplify future orders.
