Ronny Capps

A memorial service for Ronny Capps, 66, of Beauregard was held Nov. 26, 2014, at Watoola United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. with Dr. Rusty Sowell officiating. Burial took place in the Watoola Cemetery immediately following the Memorial Service.
Mr. Capps, who died Nov. 22, 2014, was born April 24, 1948, in Opelika. He was a 1966 graduate of Beauregard High School. He began his working career as a postal carrier for the Auburn Postal Service in 1967, retiring in 2006 after 38 years of service. In his spare time, he volunteered countless hours coaching youth sports for the Beauregard Community. Mr. Capps was an avid Auburn fan and spent many Saturdays cheering on the Auburn Tigers. He took pride in working with his hands and always had a project going. Mr. Capps always tried to instill the value of hard work in the hearts of his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Teri Capps; four children, Laura (Barry) Capps Kirby (Beauregard), Kevin Ronald Capps (Beauregard), Missy (Keith) Capps Fiore (Bel Air, Md.), K.C. Capps (Beauregard); two step-daughters, Jessica Reeves (Montgomery) and Katherine Reeves (Beauregard); four grandchildren, Riley Kirby, Keely Kirby, Siena Fiore and Kyle Fiore; and one sister, Nancy (Stan) Capps Seegar (Hogansville, Ga.)
