Up-and-coming Nashville singer/songwriter Kate Kelly will perform at The Sound Wall in downtown Opelika Oct. 11 to promote her new album “The Wonder of It All” which is slated for release later this fall.
Born and raised in Mobile, Kelly’s music possesses authentic, thought-out lyrics and a blend of modern folk with a tinge of americana, blues and jazz influences.
“The Wonder of It All” will be Kelly’s first full-length release, which is already drawing praise from music critics nationwide.
“From her delicate yet sultry vocals to the jazzy instrumentals, this is perfect for the (impending) cooling weather,” read an excerpt for a review of her soon-to-be-released work.
General admission tickets are $10 each and can be purchased through www.eventbrite.com. The show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and last until 11 p.m.
