SYNOPSIS OF ZONING NOTICE
The City Council of the City of Opelika will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 204 S. 7th Street, Opelika, Lee County, Alabama, to consider the adoption of an ordinance to amend the Development Plan for Academy Estates PUD. The applicant, Preston Holdings, LLC has heretofore submitted to the City Council a proposed Amended Development Plan. The original parcel lines as shown in the Development Plan are adjusted based on the current property boundaries and development within the PUD. Copies of the Amended Development Plan are open for public inspection in the offices of the Planning Department and the City Clerk.
Public Notice of this public hearing with insertion of the proposed ordinance was first published on December 12, 2014 in the Opelika Observer. This notice is given pursuant to Section 11-52-78 Code of Alabama (1975).
