Marvin C. Cox III of Opelika, Alabama was born on March 8, 1960 and passed away at Bethany House on May 16, 2017. He was 57 years old.
Mr. Cox was a supervisor at Flowers Baking Company where he had been an employee for the last 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lois Nelson, and sister Anna Marie Gardner.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pamela Lynn Cox; father, Marvin C. Cox, Jr.; children, Chad Cox, Chris Cox (Krystal); grandchildren, Savannah Grace Cox, Christopher Drew Cox; step-brother, Daniel King; sister-in-law, Kimberly Jenkins, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. A very special friend Jerry Hickman and 2 cats, Quey and Whiskers.
Graveside service was held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in Garden Hills Cemetery. The family received friends following the Graveside at 220 North 30th Street Opelika, Alabama 36801.
