Jane Lillian Randall Jackson of Opelika, Alabama passed away Monday, January 29, 2018. She was 62 years old.
Lilli was born on May 31, 1955 to Joseph and Jane Randall in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She graduated from Huntsville High School in Huntsville, Alabama and afterwards graduated with honors from Auburn University. She married Henry Carson Jackson, Jr. on September 17, 1977 and the two recently celebrated 40 years of marriage.
Throughout her lifetime, she served as a leader in various organizations. Lilli was President of the Opelika Arts Association and President of Kappa Delta sorority. Ever committed to her faith in Christ, Lilli was a member of Church of the Highlands.
Lilli most certainly embodied the true meaning of her name-peace, hope, innocence, and renewal. Her name also represents motherhood, care, and nurturing. Anyone who knew her knew her life was devoted to her husband, her children, her grandchildren, and all those who were blessed enough to have crossed her path. Lilli was full of hope, perseverance, and grace until the end.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Lilli is survived by her husband, Carson; her three children: Laurel Callaway, Henry Jackson (Stephanie), and Jane Randall Cleek (Drew); five grandchildren: Stone Cleek, Sewell Callaway, Sloane Jackson, Lillian Cleek, and Everly Jackson.
