Mary T. Combs, of Opelika, formerly of Oak Ridge, N.C., was born in Colfax, N.C. on Sept. 11, 1917, and passed away at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika on Jan. 2, 2012. She will be buried in Bethel Church Cemetery in Oak Ridge, N.C.
Combs was preceded in death by her husband, James Spencer Combs, also of Oak Ridge, N.C. She is survived by her niece, Jima Aycock and husband Tony Aycock.
