Martha Ann Rabren, 64, of Auburn passed away on Dec. 8, 2011, at Bethany House in Auburn. She was born Jan. 17, 1947.
She had lived most of her life in Auburn, and was the owner of Clips and Snips Hair Salon. Rabren was of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert “Pete” Earl and Blanche Richardson; and brothers, Lester Tubbs, and Don “Bob” Richardson.
Survivors include son, Michael (Tina) Rabren of Auburn; daughter, Janna (Scott) Sweatman of Opelika; sisters, Billie (Morris) Stoker of Auburn, Marjorie Singleton of Tallassee; and grandchildren, Taylor Griffith, Kyle Griffith, Ali Rabren, Austin Rabren and Star Rabren.
A memorial service was held on Dec. 11, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Chapel; visitation was one hour prior to the service at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home.
