The Prattville Christian Academy basketball teams played host to the Lee-Scott varsity squads last Tuesday. The Lee-Scott boys team was undefeated heading into this match up, but came up short as Prattville Christian knocked off the top ranked Warriors 53-50. Starting junior point guard, MarQuen Mitchell had a nice game finishing the night with 13 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Jeremy Joseph had the best game yet of his young career as he went for eight points and six rebounds.

The girls, however, managed to stay top dog of the state as they won 69-34. Breanne DeBaets led all scorers as she ended the night with 16 points. Senior Abigail Maddox crashed the boards to grab 13 rebounds and managed to score 15 points. Key reserve, Hayden Robinson, had another good game as she scored 10 with five assists and five steals.

This week, the Warriors will head to Springwood and host Macon-East. The varsity girls game will start at 6 p.m. and the boys will follow.
