Louise Moor Hicks, 94, of Atlanta, died on Oct. 26, 2011.
Services were held at 11 a.m. last Friday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Chapel in Marietta. The Rev. Dr. Charles Qualls officiated. Burial followed at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie Hicks Johnson and Lanier of Birmingham; son and daughter-in-law, Claude Moor Hicks and Darlene of Jasper; brother, Clifton Moor of Marietta; four grandchildren, Becky Brown, Keith Johnson, Trey Hicks and Tori Hicks; eight great grandchildren, Keith Johnson, Jr., Sarah Beth Johnson, Mary Grace Johnson, Laura Kathryn Johnson, Claudia Johnson, Anna Brown, Hank Brown, Jonathan Hicks; nieces & nephews.
Mrs. Hicks was a member of the Jonquil Garden Club and a longtime member of the Marietta Country Club. She also was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Marietta and a current member of Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church in Atlanta.
