A funeral service for Jasper Lee DuBose, 86, of Opelika, was held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 30, 2011, at Jeffcoat-Trant Chapel. Burial was held in Rosemere Cemetery. Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home.
DuBose was born Jan. 27, 1925, in Lee County. He passed away on Nov. 27, 2011, at his home in Opelika. He was a US Navy Veteran and served during WWII. He was retired from West Point Stevens and as a tax accountant with DuBose Tax Service. DuBose was a member of the Auburn-Opelika Elks Lodge, American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.
