It’s that time of year, Girl Scout cookies are here! Samoas, Tagalongs, Thin Mints and all your favorites were delivered Friday to the Lambert Transfer and Storage Inc. warehouse on Fox Trail during the 2018 Cookie Drop. Close to 9,000 cases of cookies were distributed to troops across Lee County, including Opelika. Pre-orders began after Christmas and will be filled first. Local troops will begin their booth sales Jan. 19.
