A memorial service for Florence F. Page was held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 23, at Jeffcoat-Trant Chapel. Reverend Rex Ponder officiated.
Page was born on Aug. 27, 1923, in Pascagoula, Miss. She passed away at Bethany House on Oct. 20, 2011. She had been a resident of Auburn for the past eight years following her move from Pascagoula, Miss. She had an outgoing personality and was involved in many of the activities of E.A.S.E. House in Auburn. Florence was very family oriented and doted on her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lee D. Page in 1999.
She is survived by daughter, Cecila “Pete” (Fuzzy) Fussell of Waverly; two grandchildren, John (Virginia) Fussell of Andalusia, Holly (Jeff) Duncan of Ball Ground, Ga. and nine great grandchildren.
The family respectfully declines the gift of flowers and suggests memorial contributions may be directed to Bethany House in Auburn 1171 Gatewood Dr. Building 100, Auburn, AL 36830.
