The East Alabama Predators of the Gridiron Developmental Football League will be holding two open tryouts Aug. 19 and 26 at the Covington Recreation Center field.
Members of the GDFL’s Xtreme South division, the Predators are coming off a 5-3 season and postseason appearance.
The tryout fee is $10, and those coming to the event are encouraged to bring cleats. Registration starts at 3:15 p.m., followed by the tryouts at 4 p.m.
