A memorial service for Charles David Cummings, 56, of Opelika, was held on Dec. 3, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Chapel. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home.
Cummings was born on Aug. 25, 1955, in Atlanta. He passed away on Nov. 29, 2011, at Bethany House in Auburn. He had lived most of his life in Opelika.
He is survived by his brother, Alan Cummings (Rosemary); two beloved nephews, Michael and Jackson; one special niece, Paige Cummings; several aunts and uncles; many special and caring cousins.
