BACK 2 SCHOOL BASH is back.

Friday, Aug. 15, from 4-7 p.m., BACK 2 SCHOOL BASH,” benefiting The Big House Foundation, will be celebrating its fourth year with an array of free activities for kids.

Sponsored each year by Cornerstone Family Chiropractic of Auburn, the event has welcomed families from all over Lee County to Airport Plaza, 323 Airport Road in Auburn. According to organizers, the event is a chance to enjoy lots of fun, food by local vendors and an opportunity to mingle with friends for one more summer blast.

The event benefits The Big House Foundation, a nonprofit that supports families in east Alabama caring for foster children.

Children can enjoy a giant blow-up slide, moon walk and free popcorn. Free pizza samples will be on hand from Marco’s Pizza, along with refreshing Kona Ice and offerings from Earth Fare. Variations Dance Studio will be offering “ballerina makeovers,” and Premier Spirit Academy will be conducting a challenging obstacle course.

“The Big Green Bus” will on hand, too, along with a firetruck, State Farm, SAM’s Club, Wire Road Training Facility, putting contest with the Auburn University Club and an appearance by Aubie. Door prizes will be given away as well.

This event is also sponsored by CTE Engines and Milestones Learning Center.
