Linda Gail Clark

Linda Gail Clark was born on March 16, 1945, in Lee County, Alabama, and passed away on September 8, 2015, at her home. She was 70 years old.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her mother Grathel (Granny) Wright; husband, Herbert Clark, Sr.; and two brothers, Gary and Harold Wright.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Flournoy (Bill), Karen Waldrop; sons, Rodney Clark (Amanda), Andy Clark; Jamie Clark (Tammy), Herbie Clark (Whitney); 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, June Mathis (Jimmy), and Billie Joyce Buck.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home.  Funeral service was 11 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2015, at Jeffcoat-Trant Chapel. Burial followed in Garden Hills Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Shepperd officiated.

Doni W. Boone

The memorial service for Doni W. Boone of Opelika was Monday, September 14, 2015, 3 p.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home in Opelika.  Rev. T. Grant Parker is officiated. Visitation was at 2 p.m. prior to the service.
Ms. Boone passed away on September 10 in Birmingham at UAB Medical Center.  She is survived by her daughters, Pat East and Leigh Ann Ballard (Greg); two grandchildren, Corie Ballard and Jason Hardy; and one great-grandchild, Peyton Hardy.

Joseph Holman
“Jay” Adams, Jr.

Joseph Holman “Jay” Adams, Jr., 56, of Ozark, died Tuesday, September 8, 2015, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center. Jay was the son of Joe and Dot Adams, owners of The Southern Star in Ozark. Joe Adams served as APA president in 2000-2001.
A memorial service for Mr. Adams was held at 3:30 pm. Friday, September 11 from the First United Methodist Church of Ozark with Reverend Mike Sigler, Reverend Meghan Kelley, and Reverend Dr. Billy D. Gaither officiated, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directed. The family received friends at the church Friday from 2:30 pm. until service time.
Mr. Adams was born March 7, 1959 in Dale County Hospital in Ozark.  An invalid since birth due to brain damage, he lived in Tuscaloosa from 1964-1971 at Partlow State School and Hospital.  Returning home in 1971, he entered Vivian B. Adams School in 1972, a school bearing the name of his great grandmother.
Survivors in addition to his parents are a brother, John Phillip Adams and a sister Sara Elizabeth Dawkins, both of Ozark, three nephews and a niece, a great nephew and a great niece.
The family has requested the omission of flowers and ask that memorials be made to Vivian B. School, 2047 Stuart Tarter Road, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
