Funeral service for Sevesta Grady, 57, of Opelika, AL, was at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Nazareth Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Minister Michael Ferguson officiated.
Mrs. Grady, who passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Bethany House in Auburn, AL, was born March 11, 1960 in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing was Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Survivors include: husband of 39 years, Willie Grady, Sr. of Opelika, AL; daughter, Erica Morgan (M. Troy Bolden) of Gadsden, AL; son, Willie Grady, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren, Jasmine, Journee, Jayden, Aneiya, Amir, Chaise and Chelsea; grandmother, Johnnie Mae Williams of Salem, AL; four sisters, Mary (James) Stinson, Gloria (Chris) Beard of Opelika, AL, Annie Morgan of Notasulga, AL and Minnie Morgan of Columbus, GA; one brother, George Walton of Opelika, AL; two sisters-in-law, Rebecca Grady and Frankie M. Ross both of Detroit, MI; four brothers-in-law, Arthur C. Bolden, Robert (Dorothy) Bolden of Atlanta, GA, Billy Joe (Rosie) Bolden of Opelika, AL and Jimmy Grady; caregiver and niece, Dominque Wright of Opelika, AL; devoted friend, Patricia Avery of Opelika, AL; extended family, the Crowley family, Pastor and First Lady Ferguson, and the Church of Grace and Truth Church family; a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
