Mrs. Jackie Jo (Pigg) Baker, of Opelika, AL went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 14, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Gary and Linda (Hilyer) Pigg. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Owen Baker; sons, Dale (Keisha) Luck, David (Brandi) Luck, Jr., Wesley (Rachel) Baker, and Candler Baker; daughter-in-law, Carrie; as well as grandchildren, Morgan (Blake), Autumn, Grace, Paul, Charis, Weston, David, Timothy, and Ava-Caroline. She is also survived by her sisters, Debra (Sonny) Martin, and Norma (Mickey) Harper; and nephews William (Brandi) Martin and C.D. (Susan) Ray; along with a host of other family members.
Jackie worked as an EMT-2 with East Alabama Medical Center for over 20 years, and was a faithful member of Restoration Church in Auburn for 10 years. Mrs. Baker leaves behind a rich legacy of love, worship, and service for her Savior, her family, and many friends. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know and love her.
Visitation began at 2:00 p.m. and funeral at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Restoration Church of Auburn on Shelton Mill Road. Pastor Mark Jenkins officiated. Interment at Garden Hills Cemetery in Opelika, AL followed after the service.
