Donald started grade school at Plato Missouri and lived in the Roby area for a few years. The family moved to Bucyrus and resided in the house on Campbell Road built by his father and mother. He attended church at Bethel Chapel in Bucyrus. He enjoyed being around many cousins and the times at grannie Campbell’s just down “Bald Hill”. Donald was proud of being a good “rock thrower” and spent a lot of time-outs on grannie’s porch. Donald and his brother Steve and cousin Marie kept grannie busy. As a young boy, Donald spent a good deal of time fishing and camping on the Gascondade River. Donald enjoyed all the time with his family and many Breedlove cousins, uncles and grandparents. Donald loved his wife, parents, brothers and sister and all his family.  He was a kind caring person and had a great big heart. He made numerous friends that have great memories of him. The love for fishing, hunting and rock throwing continued throughout his life he was a “good shot”. In the late 1970’s the family moved a few miles away and built a new home. Donald took part in working the “fur business” buying, selling and working in the fur sheds. Donald was known for his ability to be the only one to buy furs from Mrs. Aileen Hatch a well-known Missouri native. Donald loved having fun and pulling pranks to get a good laugh. Donald attended Houston High School and graduated in 1977. He was known as “Duno” and drove the “Hippe Rig”. He liked to go to coon hunts and riding the dirt roads. He played football in high school. He enjoyed being part of the softball team and played on the OK Tire team with the Postlewaits. Donald also loved the game of pool and there again he was a good shot. Donald moved to Alabama and lived there the rest of his life. Donald was “Hotdog” to many of his friends in Alabama and the young kids liked to say he was their Uncle Hotdog. Donald first was married to Cynthia Huff, and they have three daughters Deidre Aileen, Amanda, and Michelle.  He spent several years in Opelika where he shared his home with his mother-in-law, Francis, his sister-in-law, Wanda and his special niece, Megan.  Donald helped raise Megan and treated her like one of his own daughters.  Donald later was married to Pamela Taylor, and they later divorced. Donald met and married Ann Marie his loving wife of the past 6 years. They recently had bought their home and had started to build on their dreams. Donald took after his father working in sawmills and was a reliable and dedicated employee working many years for long hours all his life. Donald formed one unbreakable special friendship with Jerrell Cox.  They were true friends sharing all these years and helping one another through good and bad times, but made many other great friends through his work.  He also loved animals especially his dog “Dusty”.  He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
