Hudson Carriage Company helps send newlyweds Rachel and Alexander Stevenson off in style with a horse-drawn carriage ride from the Lee County Courthouse last Wednesday afternoon. The company, run by Amon Hart and Jackie Hamby out of Beauregard, is just getting its start in the community – with a little help from Pete, a mild-mannered 15-year-old white Percheron who is really the star of the operation.
